Indus Paragliding courses are based on the British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (BHPA) format, further customised to suit Indian geographical situation and weather pattern. Courses are aimed at developing our students into confident paragliding pilots.

You want to fly like a bird on your own. Want to take up paragliding sport as hobby and can devote enough time for learning and practicing.

Course options>
Elementary Pilot course and Club Pilot course are perfect choice for someone interested in Paragliding as hobby. 4 day Elementary Pilot Course teaches you basic techniques and you get 8-10 under supervision solo flights. After you finish your EP you are eligible for a 4 day CP course, where you learn advanced flying techniques and many long duration solo flights. Both these courses can be completed over two weekends.

We have two options for you.
2 days Paragliding Workshop [PW2] for those looking for a mix of adventure and fun. Workshop includes ground training and low level flights (bunny hops), but no solo flights.
3 days Paragliding Workshop [PW3] : Everything of the above workshop plus more ground training and solo flights on day 3.

Elementary Pilot Paragliding Course [EP]

Course duration: 4 days (Can be done over two weekends)

Prerequisite: Age 16+, basic physical fitness and positive attitude

Course overview
This is your first step towards free flying. Paragliding is a practicing sport hence major part of this course is dedicated to ground training. The highlight of the course is your first solo flight under direct radio supervision of your instructor.

Club Pilot Paragliding Course [CP]

Course duration: 4 days (Can be done over two weekends)

Prerequisite: Elementary pilot [EP] with a certified log book / records of training.

Course overview
During the Club Pilot course you will learn advanced launch techniques, soaring flights, dealing with instability, planned approaches and landings and much more. All these exercise practiced under direct radio supervision of instructors will help you gain confidence. The highlight of this course is long duration soaring flights.

Prerequisite: Age 12 years+ , Minimum weight 40 kgs

Overview
Two days of fun and adventure. You learn to control canopy on ground, and practice several bunny hops (low level flights).

This course is designed keeping in mind those who are interested in flying solo, but do not have enough time. You can learn the basic of paragliding, canopy control, low level flights and several solo flights from the training hill.
